Yar and who said MDC was slack?

Okay, being posted there during a busy season is totally yucky. Whoa, and being involved in 2 (yes 2) groups is worse. Wahahaha. Yar, and i have 4 weeks where my weekends are totally burnt, and with night shows, and late bookouts, and blah. Ok fine, rant on. Haha. i wouldnt give this up for a 8-5 clerk (unless its clerk at MDC haha). Where else will u get shuttle bus rides to your unit from the gate, saving on the 20 min walk? Haha.

Officially, I'm in SE, playing keyboard (!). Then again, was told that i will have to play for CIE (erhu) if necessary. Then today, was playing keyboard for CIE too.

Multi roles!

Anyway, today is actually the 4th day of posting. BUT. here's how my previous days went.

Monday: Reached before 8am, but clerks only came at 9.15am haha. Booked out at 1pm and went for chalet, supposedly Orientation. Haha

Tuesday: OIL, or Off In Lieu.
Wednesday: OIL.

Which means today is officially my 2nd day at MDC, having spent the past two days going out because the seniors from SE and CIE were at chalet, and we newcomers chose not to join them.

ANd tmr, i'm going to book in/out in civvies! Yay!

Hmm, 2 years of this. HahaHAHAHA.

I'm at a total LOSS! to unis and scholarships and blah. urgh. someone please just tell me what to do. (then at least if anything goes wrong i can blame someone else). No thats not the reason. BUT. im still at a total loss. where to go, what to do, urgh can no one even start by telling me to do this, so that i will agree?

If only it were as simple as choosing JC.

Maybe i'll just stay in singapore ah?

Its been two weeks since my last post. A lot of things has happened since then but yet i didnt blog, partly because im busy and partly because the picture on the previous post looked the nicest. Haha

Well, got back my A's results. Dunno why when i looked at my results this time, i felt nothing, only stone. well the results werent bad, it wasnt fantastic either, being just one of the 600 plus people in RJ, or the 76.2%. But my results certainly mean that i can go and do almost whatever i want, lest for an ugly grade right at the bottom but well its good enough. i'm just damn thankful that the physics grade was up there. perhaps Sze was right. haha. up down up down grades got pattern one, so it just went up for A's. oh yeah.

and then i passed out of BMT le. but lets take a look at how my bmt went. this is what i did/achieved in Tekong:
1 times 2 days of light duty
2 times 3 days of light duty
1 times 8 days of att C
3 weeks of training
3.5 weeks of doing 'service and support'
passed swimming cat
didnt even complete 1 full IPPT
passed range 22/32 (with 100% day shoot. u know how bad my eyesight is at night.)
missed field camp
3 km route march
1 day of working in the office as trainee clerk (or rather free labour)
2 times guard duty on weekdays, one as ammo guard, one as camp guard
OC parade
1 OTOT canteen break (yay)
played for Leopard's night
played in front of all the OCs and the CO for Recruit's night staff dinner
got sent to hospital at 1.30am in the morning
bathed at 4.30am in the morning
kena tao-poked 3 times
booked out thousands of times
more or less failed BMT.

Haha. oh wells. now is a block leave period. yay. shall get my posting next friday, then will report to the new unit either the following monday or tuesday. please let it be in mainland singapore. anywhere but tekong. best is MDC ya?

oh by the way i am a private now. no more a blur recruit. Haha. pay rise!!! wohoo!!!
