Being talkative and friendly

Sometimes its good u know, to be a bit more talkative and friendly. Today was like how unfair, there was a bus back to company today after Pride day for us to bring the instruments back. BUT, there bus will only drop us at company and then disappear!!! as in, no disposal. somewhere up there screwed up so bleahx. yucky right! so anyway, we were thinking, maybe we ask the bus driver to send us down that hill back to the guardhouse after we unload, so we dun have to walk so far. then after we board the bus, we were asking the bus driver (who got pissed because he got lost and was late for reasons to be revealed later) if he can send us back down to the guard house. then the uncle super angry lorh, he complain that its late, and he got other places to go, and grumble grumble. so. no definite answer, but most probably no. then when we reach the camp, i go to the front and show the guard my camp pass. then started chatting with the uncle. in the end got him to send us down, cos assured him that we wld take less than 10 min to unload, so he say okay larh, but must be fast. so we super fast leh! then we got onto his bus down, i thought he would be going back to HIS company to change bus, and i know his company is at Yishun Ave 7, so he wld pass by khatib. so see if i can hitch a ride home. then uncle say, he going home! then i thought, if he live anyway in North or West, some of our guys can go home earlier already cos it was already 8! or pass by MRT or soemthing cos Nee Soon Camp is super ulu. so asked him where he live, at first he say yishun, then i push a bit more he say khatib, then i say i also stay khatib can drop me off at his home there or not cos dun want to trouble him to make extra turns. then he say can. then i went back to the rest of the guys ask arnd see if anyone want to take train frm khatib, but only 1 say want. so in the end, i got sent home and that guy got to go home faster, and we all didnt have to walk down from company.

so it pays to chat with people whom u need favours. by chatting i dun mean irritating, but friendly chatting. instead of just demanding. and expecting people to do it. we should never take others for granted. even if others are nice enough to do things. you will never know if the person in the end hates you for it. you think its alright, the other person may never think so. you think its okay, you probably have just made an enemy.
